Christmas Anyone?

It snuck up on us! It is time for Christmas! Spent today
(the Friday after Christmas) starting our decorating. This
year I got smart. I got the kids their own smaller tree to
hang all of their school made ornaments, colorful lights,
tinsel, etc. All of the things I wouldn't allow in my
living room - ha ha ha! They had a ball decorating it.
Even found them a Cinderella tree topper last year. Looks
adorable!

Tomorrow is the day...

Tomorrow is the day that I have heard about for 10 long
days. Geneen and Grant return from paradise. You would
think it was a personal punishment against Adelina the way
she carries on about them being gone. She cried about it at
least once a day and even had a time-out or two because of
it. All of that and she still talked to them almost every
day! Geez! Well, the agony will be over tomorrow. They
land around 11am and she is armed with crafts to give them.
She is more excited than anyone else I think. With Geneen
moving, Stafford Road will never be the same - ha ha ha!
Adelina actually asked tonight "Do you think Aunt Geneen
will let me live with her at the townhouse?" Doubtful, very
doubtful.

No place like home...

Great Wolf Lodge was a lot of fun. Adelina and Isabelle did great on the slides and really loved it. They also loved story time in the lobby and asked if they could go again this morning - hahaha. But there's no place like home - my home bed that is. Isabelle proved why she still sleeps alone in a crib. It was torture between 2-6am but we forgot all about it and pretty muched opened the water park this morning bright and early. Now we are packed and heading home. School tomorrow. Pics will be posted later.

Dinner out?

Great Wolf was great until Adelina scraped her knee then all fun times were over. She wanted to leave immediately - she's so stubborn! Where does she get that from? Ha ha ha! We are now waitng in the lobby and meeting friends for dinner. Is going out to dinner with 4 tired kids a good idea? TBD.

Dancing Fools

Adelina and Isabelle are dancing fools - ha ha! They just LOVE dance class. Mrs. Jenny and Miss Joelle are wonderful in the
class - it is fun, educational, etc. Adelina and Isabelle really look forward to it each week. This is Isabelle's first year so
she feels extra special that now she gets to dance like Adelina :) So fun!

nothing to write today

I guess nothing great happened today bc I didn't blog. Hmmm... nothing? Well, we did meet with Isabelle's case study team but that
is not blog worthy. Oh well, boring day. I am enjoying Geneen's blog though and I am enjoying Hawaii vicariously through her.
Well, its 7:45. Time to get the kiddies in bed and watch all of the shows I didn't have time to watch this week. How was 90210?
How was ANTM? How was Survivor? Grey's? Not sure I will make it through all of those but I will sure try. Nighty night.

Gymnastics x 2

Tonight was gymnastics class observation night. It works out great that the girls are in the same class bc I can see both of them
with only one trip! They did really well, and they both love the class. They are taking class with their friend Ella-Mae from
school. They are all so cute together!

Tonight's project... brownies!

Lately I feel like my day consists of waking up (tired), shuffling 2 kids off to school, working, washing bottles, changing diapers,
making dinner, eating dinner, baths, bedtime, repeat. Mixed in is a lot of stress and way too much yelling. So I decided to try to
do a fun thing together every night between eating dinner and bedtime. Last night we played Go Fish for about an hour. Tonight?
Brownies! Yesica has been asking me to make her a batch of brownies (first time she had them was a few weeks ago at a party I had)
so me and the girls made brownies from scratch... for absolutely no reason at all. We didn't need to make them for a party, to
bring anywhere, or anything like that. We made them together just for fun. Although the mess added to my nightly routine, it was
really fun plus we had a yummy and warm dessert!

PS - these are our favorites, we make them every time!

Now that the wedding is over, what do I do with my copious free time? Geneen is barely on the airplane and Adelina is already
anxious to make "welcome home" signs and decorate the front door of their new house. This is going to be a very long two weeks! ha

Beautiful Wedding!

The wedding has come and gone. Everything was beautiful. Geneen and Grant looked so happy, and the night went off without a hitch.
Adelina and Isabelle were little princesses and Joseph made a hit in his Tuxedo :) It is crazy to say but I have NO PICTURES!!! I
didn't have my camera out at the church (obviously) and most the reception I was holding or dancing with one of my kids, so I am
waiting for everyone to send me their pics. Hopefully they will! Congrats Geneen and Grant! Have fun in Hawaii!

Another weekend gone...

This weekend literally flew by! Friday was Halloween (no explanation needed!) and now it is 10pm Sunday night. Where did the
weekend go? Today Isabelle has her first birthday party without Adelina. It was adorable but kinda sad. It was a gymnastics party
at Surgent's and every once in awhile I'd hear Isabelle tell the instructor something like "My sister Adelina knows how to do that"
or "Adelina and I do that in our class". Isabelle just loves her so so much :)

We went to the DeCoite's for dinner and had walking tacos. Like a big personalized plate of nachos yum! Plus my kids love going
there. Adelina still talks about the day Lori watched them and let them take baths and play with shaving cream in the shower!

At least the Giants won today - that should keep Joe happy for at least another 48 hours or so. He can watch the reruns on the news
over, and over, and over! Oh - the kids all wore their Manning jersey's today - too cute! Lori took a few pics, I'll have to get
them from her.

Well, tomorrow is Monday. Isabelle doesn't have school bc of teacher's convention. Tuesday is the election - no comment! I am off
Thurs and Fri to get ready for - THE WEDDING!!!! The wedding is finally here this Saturday. Can't wait to see the girls and Joseph
all dressed up! Note to self - need to practice their hair styles!!! Have a great week!
