Lovely Long Beach Island

Sometimes short vacations are nice and sweet! We had a great trip to LBI and did a lot! Beach, Fantasy Island, Tucker's (what is LBI without Tucker's?), flew kites, visited the lighthouse, sunset cruise, mini golf, Uncle Will's pancake house (oink, oink!), Paint a Pot, The Showplace, and on the last day (rainy) the girls and I went to SwellColors and they made glass mosaics. The Knellers joined us for one day, and Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop came down for dinner and ice cream one night. Fun times. All aboard!

Joseph got a special Thomas the Train bed, and it is so
cute! His friend RJ has one, and since Joseph really loves
Thomas we searched for one for him too. We setup it up in
the living room after he was asleep, so in the morning he
walked downstairs and said "Oh my! It's a Thomas bed! My
Thomas Bed!" All of the kids took turns pretend sleeping
and trying to fit in the toy box. Joseph still is a few
months away (IMO) from a big boy bed but we moved it to his
room next to his crib. I just put him in for a nap, and he
looked over and said "Night night Thomas, me loves you." So
flipping sweet.

Just Bead it!

Adelina & Isabelle had a great time at "Bead Camp" this
week. It is a small jewelry making class for little girls.
Adorable! So far in two days, Adelina has made an anklet,
bracelet, ring, necklace, and earrings. Isabelle has made
an anklet, bracelet, and necklace. Super cute and they are
having so much fun!

Summertime Sunday

I love when very last minute plans just all work out. Today
we had a nice afternoon in Eatontown at the Cook's. The
kids had a great time on the waterslide! It was so great to

Isabelle, too, is a Golden Knight

Isabelle enjoyed her first night of St. Cecelia's
cheerleading practice today. Unfortunately, Adelina tried
to steal Isabelle's thunder the entire time. Isabelle was
excited about the uniform - Adelina reminder her she wore
the uniform last year. Isabelle was excited about her water
bottle and practice towel - Adelina told her all of the
girls have them. Isabelle was thrilled to learn her cheers
and play games - Adelina consistently told Isabelle that she
already knew them from last year. None the less, Isabelle
is now, too, a Golden Knight. And goodness, she is proud of
it!

Fun in Forked River

"Fun in Forked River" is an understatement. The kids had a
blast! Isabelle is STILL talking about crabbing, and
Adelina is bubbling over the "very big boat bumps." Jack
enjoyed crawling around on the boat deck and Joseph had so
much fun he passed out on the boat ride home. What a

Beautiful Baltimore

One of our family trips this summer was to Baltimore,
Maryland with lots friends. We were 20 in total - to be
exact! We enjoyed an Urban Pirate adventure, a ballgame at
Camden Yards, the aquarium, the Navy ship USS Constellation,
and the Maryland Science Center. A lot of fun for three
short days!

My two favorite quotes from the trip are:

Adelina: "Aunt Michelle, what is this place?"
Michelle: "An old navy ship."
Adelina: "Oh great, I love Old Navy!"

And Joseph didn't get the hang of saying Baltimore:

Mommy: "Joseph, where are we?"
Joseph: "Bal-tomorrow!"
