Happy Memorial Day

Summer started out right with a beautiful Memorial Day
weekend. We spent the "day" swimming and enjoying the
beautiful weather. My kids LOVED playing with the Lowrys
and Ellie all day - and what a treat for me too :) For all

The kids and I made the cutest red, white, and blue cupcakes

The Superbowl of Sleep

Jack slept last night from 8:10 PM to 7:42 AM. He is 7
months, 19 days old which means 231 days of bad sleep. Last
night was like the Superbowl of sleep. I am hoping there is
a sequel tonight.

Kick off the weekend

Memorial Day weekend started off right with a beach day in
Lavallette. Everyone had a great time kayaking, boogie
boarding, and watching the horseshoe crabs. Adelina asked
me how much money she has to save to buy herself a kayak :)

Thanks for a great Daisy season!

Adelina had a fantastic Daisy season, and she is sad the year
came to an end. At the end of year ceremony, the girls did
a cute song, a petal ceremony, and got all their goodies - it was
very sweet. More girl scouts next year - time for summer!

Happy 30th birthday Melissa! We had a lovely afternoon
celebrating Melissa's 30th. The angle on the picture of
Joseph/Jack is VERY deceiving because goodness, they look
almost the same size! Scary! But they are not, I just
double checked - ha ha!

Adelina was really proud to have her art displayed at the
St. Cecelia's Art show tonight. She was disappointed she
didn't have more on display, but was very proud of what was

Lovely Day in Long Branch

What could be better than a 70 degree, sunny day? Not much!
We enjoyed the day down in Long Branch at the Pier Village
beach, Stewart's, and then the Seven President's park. Even

Happy Mother's Day!

Spent a lovely Mother's Day today down the shore. Had lunch
with my parents, Geneen, Grant, Joyce, and the kiddos. Then
we headed to the boardwalk for some rides. Joseph really
enjoyed the Pony Carts and the Helicopters, but the Flying
Fish was by far the cutest with Joseph trying to reach
Grant's hand each time he passed. After the rides, we met
the Lowry's at Hoffman's for ice cream. The drive home was
nice and quiet - everyone, including Joe, asleep except
Joyce and I. Ahhhhh. Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Feet

Adelina has Happy Feet! Well, sorta. Tonight Adelina
performed in the St. Cecelia School talent show with the 7th
grade act. They danced to a song from Happy Feet. Even
though she had a touch of stage freight, she did a great job
and had a lot of fun! The videos of her act and the finale
are posted in our YouTube account. Enjoy!
