Starting Summer Fun!

Adelina and Isabelle started swim lessons today. They both
did great! To me you can say summer has officially started
when swim lessons begin :)

Isabelle's 1st Golf Lesson

Isabelle took her 1st golf lesson today. She looked
adorable! Not only do I think she was cute, but she really
liked the lesson! She has been to the range a few times
with my dad and Joe, but today she had a
club teaching pro for an official lesson. If you don't know
the whole story behind this, long story short when Isabelle
was too young for ice skating lessons this winter we let her
pick something and she picked golf to be like Pop-Pop. Love
it!

Today was Adelina and Isabelle's friend birthday party.
Kids had a great time with Crayola crafts and the water
slide. Luckily the weather finally was nice! Whew - I
think the "party" month of June is finally over!

Adelina's Happy Day

What a day she had! For her bday she wanted to go to the
beach but that's tough to do on a rainy Wednesday. But late
afternoon we zipped to the beach for a bit just accommodate
her "wish". Then for dinner we were headed to the SJV fair.
They had a blast and are all in the tub now. Between the
sand from the beach and the mud from the wet SJV lot, we are
all a mess! Happy Birthday Adelina!

Way to go Isabelle!

Today we were sending a greeting card to Caroline for a
contest she had won. Adelina wrote her name and then
Isabelle grabbed the marker and started to do the same. I
hesitated bc normally her "signature" looks more like a dish
of spaghetti and makes the words on a card unreadable, but
this time was different! She wrote her name
I-S-A-B-E-L-L-E!!! It was completely legible! I was blown
away. Great job Isabelle!

Last day of T-Ball

Well... unfortunately today's last day of T-ball had very
little action. The game was rained out - again! 4 out of
10 games were rained out. But the coach told all the kids
to come to the field anyway to get their trophies and have
cupcakes. Better than nothing I guess.

Dance Recital

Today was Adelina and Isabelle's dance recital. They both
did great. Adelina did both ballet and tap this year, and
Isabelle did just ballet. Both girls really enjoyed their
class and are already looking forward to next September!

Congratulations Adelina

Today was Adelina's pre-school graduation from Alphabet
Academy. Adorable! The kids wore men's white shirts
backwards as their graduation "gowns". They sang songs,
recited a poem, and received their "diplomas". Adelina was
so excited for us to meet all her special friends from
school. Afterwards she got to pick a place for lunch for
her special day. It was a really fun day. I still cannot
believe she is going to Kindergarten in Sept!

Isabelle's new Styling Chair

Aunt Geneen let Isabelle pick a gift for her bday, and she
picked a really cute hair styling chair from TRU. Came with
the chair, cape, pretend scissors, and even a water bottle
(big hit)! Really cute and totally Isabelle.

Adelina is really 5?

Is anyone besides me having trouble believing Adelina is
going to be 5 years old? WOW! Today I took her for lunch
(just me and her) and did her birthday pictures. She picked
her outfit from head to toe - including the extra fancy sea
shell necklace. She was so proud of herself that I couldn't
impose my wishes for a white and red outfit to match the red
#5. She was so good at lunch and the picture it just
reminded me that I need to spend more time with her alone.
Happy pre-birthday Adelina. You look so beautiful and grown
up!

Little Gym

Today was Joseph's last day of class for the Spring at
Little Gym. We are very lucky that Yesica takes him to
class for him to play and make friends. He really loves it!
We signed him up for another session for the Summer.

Pony Rides

We wanted to make Isabelle's day special, so after her dance
class party, we took Adelina, Isabelle, and Joseph to a
horse farm. The girls rode horses - licorice and caramel.
Isabelle really really loves horses and had a great time!

Isabelle pre-birthday dance party

Isabelle was lucky enough to have a pre-birthday party at
dance class. We got Hanna Montana accessories and had "4"
donuts from Dunkin. Adelina was even allowed to join the
class for the party! Isabelle has so much fun and felt so
special!

Outside Mount Sinai hospital there was a man with his fly
open with a catheter leading into a catheter bag (filled
with urine) and he was walking on the street smoking a
cigarette! Only in NY.
