Fun in Forked River

"Fun in Forked River" is an understatement. The kids had a
blast! Isabelle is STILL talking about crabbing, and
Adelina is bubbling over the "very big boat bumps." Jack
enjoyed crawling around on the boat deck and Joseph had so
much fun he passed out on the boat ride home. What a

Beautiful Baltimore

One of our family trips this summer was to Baltimore,
Maryland with lots friends. We were 20 in total - to be
exact! We enjoyed an Urban Pirate adventure, a ballgame at
Camden Yards, the aquarium, the Navy ship USS Constellation,
and the Maryland Science Center. A lot of fun for three
short days!

My two favorite quotes from the trip are:

Adelina: "Aunt Michelle, what is this place?"
Michelle: "An old navy ship."
Adelina: "Oh great, I love Old Navy!"

And Joseph didn't get the hang of saying Baltimore:

Mommy: "Joseph, where are we?"
Joseph: "Bal-tomorrow!"

6th Birthday Beach Party

Adelina had a very special 6th birthday beach party. She
was lucky enough to have some of her friends from school
plus some "regulars" joins us for a great day in Long
Branch. I think everyone had a really great time. For all

Shrinky Dinks!

Flash back! The girls received Shrinky Dinks as a birthday
present from Aunt Jessica and totally LOVE THEM! This

Adelina and Isabelle had a fantastic birthday party today! All of the kids slid, jumped, danced, and had a great time! A highlight from today was a fantastic show choreographed by Caroline - it was so adorable! I'll try to post the video soon. Happy birthday girls. Happy 6th Birthday Adelina

Oh how she's grown! Adelina turned 6 years old today. She
is such a smart little girl with a good head on her
shoulders. Adelina is stubborn, but still very smart. I am
so proud of her! Happy Birthday Adelina!

Adelina swam her first ever swim meet today. She swam both
breast and back stroke. We are so proud of her!

Jack's 1st Haircut

Jack got his 1st haircut today. Against my better judgment,
I did not give him a crew cut so I don't think you can even
tell very much from the front. But you can tell big time
from the back - no more hair over his ears or curled up tail
in the back! I'll buzz him in a few weeks!

Adelina and Isabelle's dance recital

Adelina and Isabelle's dance recital was fantastic. This
year the girls were lucky enough to be in the same classes.
They took ballet and tap, and performed two dances for the
recital. This year's theme was "Food, Glorious Food." For
ballet the girls were "Grape Snow Cones" and for tap they
were "Red Hots". Links to videos posted on the side. More

Congratulations Isabelle, again

Graduations are finally over! Isabelle had her 2nd (and
final) pre-school graduation. It was very cute, and she had
